The suspect could also be as younger as 16, authorities stated.
An 18-year-old man was significantly injured Saturday evening when he was stabbed on the Downtown Crossing MBTA station.
In an announcement, MBTA Superintendent Richard Sullivan stated an “alteration” occurred on the steps of the station’s Franklin Avenue entrance round 11:40 p.m.
The unidentified sufferer “sustained stab wounds to her physique” and was transported to a neighborhood hospital for non-life-threatening accidents, Sullivan stated.
Preliminary investigation suggests the suspect is a younger man between the ages of 16 and 19, Sullivan stated.
The matter continues to be being investigated by the Site visitors Police.
