The Nigeria Customs Service Board has authorised the appointment of three Assistant Comptroller Generals.
This was said in a press release revealed on Wednesday.
Customs stated 1,490 senior basic responsibility officers and assist employees have been additionally promoted to numerous ranks, together with Customs spokesman Timi Bomodi.
The appointment evaluation consists of ACG Greg Itotoh, ACG Festus Okun and ACG Shuaibu Ibrahim. Some newly promoted controllers are Musa Omale, Zanna Chiroma, Stanley Nwankwo, Ajibola Odusanya, Paul Ekpenyong, Abubakar Umar, Maureen Ajuzieogu, MO Bewaji, amongst others.
Sixty-four deputy controllers have been promoted to customs controllers, whereas 128 assistant controllers have been promoted to deputy controllers. Eighty-nine Chief Superintendents of Customs have been promoted to Assistant Comptrollers and 220 Superintendents of Customs have been promoted to Chief Superintendents of Customs.
100 and 7 deputy customs officers have been promoted to customs supervisors, whereas 302 assistant customs officers I have been promoted to deputy customs officers.
2 hundred and twenty-three assistant customs officers II have been promoted to assistant customs officers I, and 357 inspectors have been promoted to assistant customs supervisors II.
Customs earlier authorised the promotion of 1,252 males within the ranks of inspectors and customs assistants.
