The Nigerian Railway Company has introduced the adjustment of the departure time of its final two trains from Idu (Abuja) to Rigasa (Kaduna) and vice versa.
The Supervisor of the Abuja-Kaduna Practice Service, Mr. Pascal Nnorli, advised the Nigerian Information Company on Friday that the changes had been to make sure the early arrival of the trains at their locations.
In accordance with Nnorli, the trains will now depart half-hour earlier than the earlier departure time.
He stated: “The AK3 from Idu (Abuja) which takes off at 3:30 pm to reach at Rigasa (Kaduna) at 5:38 pm, will now depart at 3:00 pm to reach at 5:08 pm.
“Additionally the two:00 pm KA4 practice from Rigasa (Kaduna) will now depart Rigasa at 1:30 pm and arrive at Idu (Abuja) at 3:37 pm as an alternative of 4:07 pm
In accordance with the supervisor, the modification will come into power on December 12.
