Sadanand Dhume writes a biweekly column on India and South Asia for WSJ.com. It focuses on the politics, financial system and international coverage of the area.
Mr. Dhume can be a resident fellow on the American Enterprise Institute in Washington, D.C. He beforehand served because the New Delhi bureau chief of the Far Japanese Financial Overview (FEER) and because the Indonesia correspondent for FEER and The Wall Road Journal Asia.
Mr. Dhume is the writer of “My Good friend the Fanatic: Travels with a Radical Islamist” (Skyhorse Publishing, 2009), which charts the rise of the unconventional Islamist motion in Indonesia. His subsequent e book will study India’s transformation for the reason that election of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014.
Mr. Dhume holds a bachelor’s diploma in sociology from Delhi College, a grasp’s diploma in worldwide relations from Princeton College and a grasp’s diploma in journalism from Columbia College. He lives in Washington, DC together with his spouse, and travels incessantly to India.
