“Detectives pounced on the suspect and arrested him for questioning. He admitted to being a member of a kidnapping gang and revealed that he had been despatched from their camp to promote the automobile.”
He added: “On the order of the Commissioner of Police within the state, CP Aderemi Adeoye, the case was transferred to the Anti Kidnapping Unit, Awkuzu, who then went after the opposite members of the gang.
“This led to the arrest of one other member of the gang named Ejeka Ufuo, ‘m’ 23 years previous, who was led to imagine that the car was bought and he went out with the intention of amassing the proceeds.
