Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, his deputy, Alhaji Manir Dan’Iya, Peoples Democratic Occasion (PDP) governorship candidate, Saidu Umar and several other PDP supporters in Sokoto narrowly escaped loss of life when hoodlums attacked their convoy on Sunday night time.
Their convoy was reportedly attacked whereas getting back from marketing campaign rallies in Silame and Wamakko native authorities areas.
The assault came about on the outskirts of Wamakko city, on the best way again to Sokoto city.
